MARKETING MANAGER
Projects
As a marketing manager with over nine years’ experience working in both corporate and non-profit organizations, I have had the pleasure of working on numerous projects. Each project is unique and requires a different set of skills, but my creativity and meticulous project management ensure that each project is completed successfully.
Here are some of the projects I have worked on:
The PRiME 7th Annual Symposium
The PRiME Annual Symposium brings together researchers, clinician scientists, industry pioneers, investors, and policymakers to delve into the latest advancements in precision medicine.
When I joined the team, we were four weeks out from the PRiME 7th Annual Symposium with four weeks to plan and execute the whole event, the largest event of the year. My approach was simple, but effective: identify what worked in the past, what did not, what was most crucial, and what needed to be done to make this event a success. I evaluated the priority of each task, and identified the key element that could make or break the event: audio visual support.

As the event featured a series of talks from leading scientists and researchers across the global and local precision medicine community, delivering a seamless and professional audiovisual experience was essential. I partnered with the University of Toronto's Learning Space Management team to assess the venue's technical capabilities, secured dedicated on-site technical support, collected and reviewed all speakers’ materials in advance, developed detailed cue sheets for each session and transition, and led a comprehensive technical rehearsal prior to the event. These preparations ensured that every talk was clearly seen and heard, and that transitions between speakers were smooth and uninterrupted.
After four weeks of planning and execution, I delivered the PRiME 7th Annual Symposium, which attracted more than 170 attendees, generated over 53,000 social media impressions, and produced a documented event template to support continuous improvement for future symposia.
Engaging the Local Precision Medicine Ecosystem
In addition to the Annual Symposium, PRiME hosts a series of monthly events designed to engage the local precision medicine ecosystem.
Over the past four months, I planned and executed 12 of these events end to end, managing venue booking, A/V coordination, marketing and promotion, logistics, and catering. These events collectively attracted 807 attendees, averaging 67 per event, compared to an average of 51 attendees per event in 2024–2025, representing a 24 percent increase. This increase was supported by a multi-channel marketing strategy targeting multiple faculties and departments, with coordinated registration reminders aligned to audience engagement patterns.

To support consistency and scalability, I also developed a Standard Operating Procedure for monthly event planning and continue to refine it with learnings from each event.
Women’s Entrepreneurship Campaign
When YWCA Hamilton received $60,000 in unexpected government funding in the final quarter of the fiscal year, I was responsible for designing and delivering a full marketing campaign for the Women’s Entrepreneurship Program within an eight-week timeline.
I developed an integrated strategy spanning digital and traditional media, managing the budget and allocating spend across Spotify, LinkedIn, radio, digital search and display ads, transit bus ads, and local newspaper sponsorships. I led creative execution, including copywriting, artwork design, and coordination with multiple vendors to ensure timely rollout across all channels, while balancing concurrent planning for the Women of Distinction Awards.

The campaign resulted in a 106 percent increase in program enrollment compared to the previous year. The Spotify campaign alone generated over 840,000 impressions and reached more than 230,000 people across Canada.
Digital Presence & Growth
To strengthen PRiME's presence within the precision medicine community, I developed and executed a data-driven LinkedIn strategy focused on consistent content, audience engagement, and clear brand standards. By establishing a distinct brand voice, implementing visual guidelines, and managing a strategic content calendar, I increased the organization's reach and visibility within the sector.
